Love Gàidhlig was invited by James from Igot2Travel.com, who organized a tailored Gaelic Tour for Arieh, to help by providing Gaelic tutoring before his visit to Uist on 26 - 28 April 2024. Love Gaelic also assisted with travel and other support during Arieh's stay. We also got help from Judith, who offered an unforgettable experience of swimming in the Atlantic Ocean on a gorgious Hebridean day www.yogahebrides.co.uk.

With over 10 million followers on social media, Arieh Smith, aka Xiaoma, is one of the best-known polyglots in the world. He visited Uist to surprise native Gaelic speakers with his speaking skills, after a short period of intensive 1-1 lessons with Love Gaelic. You can follow him on YouTube and ‘like’ the videos he made, to help Scottish Gaelic.

You can now sign up for our NEW online Phonetic Learning Self-study Course to practice pronunciation of phrases, and prepare for conversation in Scottish GaelicThis course includes all the phrases accumulated during Arieh's lessons and downloadable soundfiles to work with. It may not be your convential way of learning a language, but some may like the fact that one does not have to worry about grammar or correct spelling!

Give it a try and learn to speak Scottish Gaelic confidently with Arieh’s learning method, which is based on phonetic learning (your phonetics, not his). The workbook download is included and can also be purchased in our book shop here.

You can book your own Gaelic Island Experience with your guide, a native Gaelic speaker from Igot2Travel.com or once you finish the self-study course, you can spend some time with the tutor from Love Gaelic on the island, to put everything you learned into practice. We will put some packages together in the coming weeks for visitors.
