The Guth ’s Dualchas workbook as a self-study resource.What sits behind it is something I’ve seen repeatedly:learners don’t struggle because they lack vocabulary—they struggle because they haven’t developed control over phrasing, flow, and how meaning is expressed.Guth ’s Dualchas is a higher-level Scottish Gaelic programme for learners who want to take control of how they express themselves authentically and are ready to refine their use of the language. Built around authentic phrasing in context, it develops a strong sense of sentence flow and natural expression.You will not simply recognise patterns—you will use them, applying what you learn through short writing tasks and speaking aloud. This is an active process, focused on shaping clear, confident Gaelic that reflects real usage and supports effective communication.This student workbook forms part of the full course and includes English translations as well as references to additional material. It can be used for independent self-study or as part of a taught or supported learning programme.

Focused on confidence, spontaneity, and fluid everyday speaking.
Group & 1-1
This block invites learners to deepen their connection to the land, dialects, and cultural memory of the Highlands and Islands. Explore local expressions, ancient rhythms, and spoken traditions that carry the voice of the past into the present — and let your Gaelic grow from the roots upward.

Other students - £200 for each block
For 1-1 packages - 340 per block of 10 hour lessons

In this second 10-week phase, we dive deeper into the richness of the Gaelic tradition. You’ll explore dialects, poetic forms, oral storytelling, and expressive Gaelic rooted in culture and community. Build your vocabulary through literature and music, master regional sounds, and reconnect with the emotional depth of the language. Ideal for learners who want to speak beautifully and meaningfully.
