Intermediate Booster Course

The Intermediate Immersion Booster Course is suitable for students who:
* study Gaelic full-time at College/University
* study the SMO Cùrsa Inntrigidh (Isle of Skye)

* study with Colaisde na Gàidhlig (Cape Breton)
* have to prepare for an exam or interview
* have little opportunity to practice pronunciation
* want to plug the gaps in their knowledge
* want to become more confident in holding a conversation
* who want to revise

1-1 Intermediate Immersion Booster

The 1-1 fast-paced taught course is structured to identify quickly what areas you need extra help with. The booster also includes the Eilean Uibhist Mo Rùin course, a storyline following two tourists on a 4 days visit to the Isles of Uist.

You will receive the printed student handbook and access to other learning resources (e.g. videos, downloadable soundfiles,  online revision questions).

 

Focus is on reading & pronunciation improvement combined with vocabulary building and grammar revision, before doing formal & informal dialogue drills and day-to-day conversation development. You are expected to submit homework by a deadline.

Higher Intermediate Group Booster Course

The fast-paced taught course is structured to identify quickly what areas you need extra help with.
The booster includes a storyline following two tourists on a 4 days visit to the Isles of Uist.


You will receive the printed student handbook and access to the 800 Revision Questions.

 

Focus is on conversation development for more confident Gaelic speakers and grammar revision at intermediate level (the use of regular & irregular verbs in past and future tense). You are expected to submit homework by a deadline before each lesson.
