The peats were cut and we lifted them this week, so they can dry. They will provide heating during our winter powercuts. As we had a really long spell of dry weather, it shouldn't be long before we can take them back to the croft. Maybe next year you'd like to come and give us a hand while learning Gaelic on the island, surrounded by a Gaelic speaking community.
